Gillian Joseph

Gillian Joseph is a Guelph-based artist whose work invites viewers to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, capturing fleeting moments of light, texture and emotion that often go unnoticed.   For over ten years, she has explored the expressive possibilities of acrylic, watercolour, and charcoal, creating works that play with contrast, light, and feeling.  Gillian shares her work through her Guelph studio, "Gillian Joseph Art and Craft", and sells her original paintings, prints and cards at the Guelph Artisan Shop.  In the Winter, Gillian runs a community Art and Craft group with monthly workshops and helps organize an annual community Exhibition and Sale for 20 local artists.  Her work has been shown at a number of galleries in Canada and beyond.  Gillian is pleased to take commissions of any size.  She is the  Webmaster for the GCAA and sits on the Volunteer  Committee for the Art Gallery of Guelph Gallery Store, working on social media.
