Jackie McLarnon

Toronto Island born and Guelph based, Jackie McLarnon is an artist whose work celebrates a life in motion. A retired health and fitness professional and current Guelph YMCA volunteer, Jackie brings a sense of energy and flow to her loose-style paintings. Working across oil, acrylic, watercolour, and pastel, she finds constant inspiration in the colours and textures of her garden.

Jackie is currently immersed in the unique technical challenge of watercolour on canvas, using its fluid unpredictability to capture the ethereal majesty of the night sky—from the quiet shimmer of constellations to the vibrant dance of the Northern Lights.
Jackie is deeply grateful for the health of body and mind that allows her to keep creating and stay active in her community every day.

Jackie is currently a member of Guelph Creative Arts Association and Guelph Arts Council.
